- Ben Affleck used to be a good actor. Maybe the booze has impaired him. This movie reminds me of his brother Casey's movies, poor acting, slow and long periods of nothing happening, and way too much over emphasized alcohol problem
- This was an OK movie but I fell in love with THIS trailer for some reason, the music and everything is perfect. But movie was OK.

- Such a beautiful story. I was going to see this movie with my brother and he died two weeks before it came out. I never got to share this beautiful movie with him....

- This is a very good movie but my only real issue with it is the same in alot of other movies. They just skip over one of the most important and difficult parts about addiction, the withdrawal. In movies they decide to get clean it shows them getting rid of whatever they're addicted to and then it cuts to a scene like the one showing him coaching. The torturous and wildly varying time period from when they decide to get clean versus when they're fully sober.
